Francis Danaher

    Francis Kevin Danaher, 47, of East First Street, Larksville, died Friday.
   
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Francis William and Dolores
(Hazinski) Danaher. He was educated in West Side schools and received an
associate’s degree in culinary arts from Luzerne County Community College,
Nanticoke. He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving as a sergeant and was
employed as a chef in several local restaurants and as a truck driver for
several local trucking companies.
   
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald.
   
Surviving are a daughter, Angelica Danaher, Rye, N.Y.; son, Kevin Danaher,
Bear Creek Township; and three sisters.
   
Funeral services will be private at the family’s convenience from the John
V. Morris Funeral Homes, Wilkes-Barre. A Celebration of Life memorial
gathering will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Joey’s Joint, Plymouth Avenue,
Edwardsville.
