WILKES-BARRE TWP. – Jeremy Sauers had two hits, including the game-winning
two-run single in the sixth inning, as King’s College downed DeSales 5-4
Wednesday in college baseball action at Betzler Fields.
    Winning pitcher Paul Kapral pitched six strong innings, allowing three runs
and striking out four. Bill Serafin pitched the final three innings to earn
the save.
   
Bill Drazdowski paced the King’s offense with three hits.
   
Muhlenberg 7, Wilkes 1
   
ALLENTOWN – Chris O’Connor fired a complete-game six-hitter leading the
Mules past the visiting Colonels.
   
Wilkes’ Mike Spotts had three hits, including an RBI double in the third.
Tyler Trutt added a pair of hits for the Colonels (4-5).
   
WOMEN’S LACROSSE
   
Misericordia 18, Gwynedd-Mercy 6
   
LANSDALE – The Lady Cougars’ Britney Haring scored eight goals and teammate
Erica Noel added six in the road victory.
   
Liz Kovalchik recorded five saves for College Misericordia.
