IF YOU’RE GOING to feed the song birds after Saturday, you better be
careful. If a bear comes by and eats the bird seed, Big Brother game
commission is going to cite you.

THIS IS TO all the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin fans out there. Shame on
you for booing your own team. Regardless of whether they win or lose, the
point is they have great fans that stand behind them. It’s OK to boo the refs,
it’s OK to boo the other team. But you never, ever boo your own team. Instead
of booing, why don’t we get some positive motivation going on and start a
Pens, Pens, Pens cheer.
IN REGARDS TO the caller saying the junior high teams in public schools
should cut or have tryouts because the private schools do. Speaking for the
Catholic schools in the area, who are all members of the Diocese of Scranton,
cutting is not allowed. If a school does that they are violating diocesan
rules quite clearly. Every kid is supposed to make the team. They don’t have
to play, but every kid is supposed to make the team and have as positive
experience in the sport as he can.

I’M SO SICK and tired of all these supposed fans claiming the Penguins are
so chalk full of talent in Wilkes-Barre. What talent? Because of the scouting
reports? Because the kid did good in college, for crying out loud? You’ve been
watching these guys all year. What talent are you talking about? There isn’t
that much talent. When Houston comes to town, I see talent. When Utah comes to
town, I see talent. I don’t see talent watching our guys. I see mediocre
hockey players.
