low test scores

NANTICOKE – Superintendent Tony Perrone addressed a taxpayer’s concerns

School Board meeting.

Perrone said Tuesday the school is trying to raise scores by hiring
talented teachers and teachers aides and upgrading computers and books.

In other business, the board:

Appointed a child development specialist for the Greater Nanticoke Area
Family Center at a salary of $13.50 per hour.
