Dorothy Kulak

    Dorothy C. Kulak, a resident of St. Therese Personal Care Home,
Wilkes-Barre, formerly of Nicholson Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, died
Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
   
Born Feb. 6, 1923, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Frank
and Helen (Cieslak) Kulak. She was a 1940 graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township
High School and was employed by American Store Bakery, Wilkes-Barre, foe many
years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church of the Maternity, Wilkes-Barre.
   
She was preceded in death by brothers, Zigmund Kulakowski and Thomas Kulak;
sisters, Frances Damitski, Genevieve Magda and Irene Bednarek.
   
Surviving are sisters, Helen Yarnot, Wilkes-Barre; Marie Hovick,
Bergenfield, N.J.; Bette Alansky, Montoursville; and nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the Robert Bednarski
Funeral Home, 27 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s
Church of the Maternity, with the Monsignor Alexander T. Kulik, officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, West Wyoming.
   
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church of
the Maternity, Wilkes-Barre, or to St. Therese Personal Care Home,
Wilkes-Barre.
