WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:
• Kevin Noel, 31, of South River Street, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the area of South Franklin and South River streets on a disorderly conduct warrant.
• Robert Spare reported around 9 a.m. Monday that two handguns were missing from 755 N. Washington St.
• Fred Lewis reported around 1:15 p.m. July 17 that a plastic preformed pond was taken from 11 Race St.
• Christopher Barnes, of Scranton, was arrested on Monday on charges of driving under the influence. Police said Barnes was northbound near 370 N. Main St. when his vehicle struck three parked vehicles. He was not injured.
• Richard Mericle, 23, of Mountain Top, was arrested around 1 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Hazle and Stanton streets on charges of driving under the influence.
• Peter Adams of Wilkes-Barre reported around 2 a.m. Monday that he was attacked by several unknown men. Walking in the area of Amber Lane and North Grant Street, he was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette. Having none, Adams continued walking but noticed several other men were running at him. He was struck from behind by the first man but fled to his porch. There, he was attacked by the group. He was struck in his face, head and back, but suffered no injuries.
• Police said they found Jeff Geiger in possession of pills without a prescription around 7:30 p.m. on Monday at 28 Academy St.
• Joseph Simonson reported around 6:30 p.m. Monday that lumber was missing from 31 Hurley St.
• A representative of Turkey Hill Minit Market at 1037 N. Washington St. reported around 5:45 p.m. Monday that two people stole various merchandise.
• Brian Martz, 30, of South Franklin Street, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. Monday on a burglary warrant.
• Lauren Callahan reported around noon Sunday at 200 N. Pennsylvania Ave. that her welfare card was used without her permission.
• Thomas Weaver, 45, and Guy Fox, 44, both of South Franklin Street, were arrested around 11:40 a.m. Sunday at 39 E. Jackson St. for allegedly committing sex acts in public.
• Nancy Miller, 30, of South Empire Street, was charged with stealing food from the Sheetz convenience store at 464 Wilkes-Barre Township Blvd. around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
• A victim reported around 9:45 a.m. Monday that items worth approximately $122.69 were stolen from a property on Warren Street.
