HENRY STEPHEN MAGRAW UHL, MD, 88, of Winston-Salem, N.C., died on Friday, August 28, 2009, at Brookridge Retirement Community. He was born on July 23, 1921, in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late John Hamilton and Rebecca Magraw Uhl. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Everett-Uhl; his daughter, Aletheia Meredith Mystea; two brothers, Robert P. Uhl, Richard R. Uhl; sister Eleanor J. Uhl; and many devoted nieces and nephews. He was an avid golfer who was passionate about history and politics. He will be deeply missed.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 12, 2009, at 2 p.m., Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Winston-Salem. Memorial contributions to Crisis Control Ministry of Winston-Salem.
