Mr. Frank W. Koytek, of Duryea, passed away Tuesday morning at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Duryea, he was a son of the late Walter and Josephine Ryzner Koytek. He was a graduate of Duryea High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Duryea.
He was preceded in death by his son, Walter Koytek, who passed away on August 13, 2008; and a sister, Theresa Enkulenko.
He and his wife, the former Stephanie Warunek, have been married for 56 years.
Also surviving are three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Koytek and his wife, Ceil, of Duryea; Stanley Koytek and his wife, Mary, of Taylor; John Koytek and his wife, Ceil, of Taylor; Edward Koytek and his wife, Margaret, of Bear Creek; nieces and nephews.

The
funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea.
Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
