Kathleen Harrison, 79, of Pittston, died Tuesday at the Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She was the wife of Edward Harrison.
Born Sept. 6, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Cawley Monahan. She graduated from Pittston High School and worked as a custodian at Bridon American Company, Exeter. She belonged to St. Mary, Help of Christians Parish, Pittston, and its Altar & Rosary Society.
Also surviving are three daughters, Cathy Talarico, Donna Ahearn, and Linda Azaravich, all of Pittston; four sons, Francis Boylan, Pittston Township, James Boylan, Aliquippa, Joseph Boylan, Plano, Texas, and Thomas Boylan, Pittston; a foster son, Steven Williams, Philadelphia; a sister, Nancy Rettenmeyer, Exeter; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Boylan; a sister, Marie Frederick; and a brother, Thomas Monahan.

The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the Paul F. Leonard Funeral Home, 575 N. Main St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Saint Mary, Help of Christians Church, Pittston.
Interment will be in Saint Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown. Friends may call today, 5 to 9 p.m.
