Mike Napkori fired a 1-under 35 at Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course to lead Holy Redeemer to a 161-175 victory over Coughlin in a Wyoming Valley Conference golf match.
Donny DeRemer shot a 38 for Redeemer, while Matt Slavoski (41) and Eric Jones (47) also scored for the Royals.
Joe Caffrey had the low round for Coughlin with a 41 and was followed by Mike Daubert (43), Seamus Gartley (44), and Mike Post (47).
Wyoming Valley West 180, Wyoming Seminary 191
Nike Humphreys earned medalist honors with a 43 for Wyoming Valley West as they defeated Wyoming Seminary at the par-36 course at Irem Country Club. Steve Brand shot a 45 for the Spartans, while Tim Kushavage and Colin Harrison each shot a 46.
Evan Leas led Seminary with a 45, Ron Rose shot a 48, and John Henry and Derrick Jobnecke each carded a 49.
Dallas 172, Lake-Lehman 192
Andrew McCabe’s 42 led all golfers, helping the Mountaineers knock off rival Lake-Lehman at Irem Temple Country Club (par 36).
Mike Jayne and John Dougherty both carded a 43 for Dallas, while Tony Bevevino shot a 44.
Leading the Black Knights were Jon Thomas (45), Jeff Heath (46), Kenny Kocker (49) and Mike Kotulksi (52).
Crestwood 162, MMI Prep 187
Leading the match was Crestwood’s Tom Kempisnki, who shot a 37 at Blue Ridge Trail (par 36). He was followed by Matt Kachurak (41), Mike Abramcheck (41) and Eric Jesikiewicz (44).
Jared Hinkle (43), Ryan Forte (44), Connor McNelis (47) and Casey McCoy (53) scored for the Preppers.
