Fairview Elementary School students collected aluminum can tabs for dialysis patients. The program helps patients with special needs to travel to and from the dialysis center. It takes 900 ‘tabs’ to make one pound. The school collected 185 pounds of tabs and redeemed $61.05. The money was donated to the Dialysis Patients Association. Anyone with a large amount of tabs can drop them off at the school. From left: Corinne Smith and Adam Smith.
