Thelma Yevon (Holloway) Jones, 64, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 21, 1945, she was a daughter of the late George B. Sr. and Julia (Simpkins) Holloway. She was a graduate of G.A.R. High School.
She was formerly employed by Kennecott Copper, New York, and most recently at Penguin and Putman Inc., Pittston Township.
Thelma enjoyed cooking and doing arts and crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Jr., and Coley; and a sister, Sarah Holloway.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Maurice E. Jones; brother, Warren Holloway, New York City; sisters, Maggie Walters, New York City; Hattie Carter and Mary Jane Holloway, both of Wilkes-Barre; Ruby Holloway, Mountain Top; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Home going services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. James Breese officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
