WILKES-BARRE – Matt Millan shot a 34 to lead all golfers and help Tunkhannock sweep a Wyoming Valley Conference tri-match Thursday at par-32 Hollenback Golf Course.
The Tigers defeated Meyers 146-169 and GAR 146-188. Meyers picked up a victory over GAR.
Steve Brennan (35), Adam Charles (37) and Justin Brown (40) also scored for the Tigers.
Meyers was led by Tony Morrash (39), Dan Conrad (42), Rob Reilly (43) and Mike Smith (45).
Chris Schiel had a 41 for GAR followed by Phillip Richards (43), Ryan Pavone (52) and Jude Fahley (52).

Laura Barna, Nicole Carlos and Leslie Usher all won their singles matches for Crestwood.
Morgan Coslett and Hiral Patel scored Coughlin’s only point in their doubles matchup.

Moosic Mets hosting tourney
The Moosic Mets 12th annual Fall Classic Wood Bat Tournament will take place this weekend.
Teams from various areas of the east coast will compete for the title.
The tournament games will begin 9 a.m. tomorrow at Connell Park, Bataglia-Cawley, Marywood University and Scranton High School fields.
The championship game will take place at 3 p.m. Monday at Battaglia-Cawley Field in Scranton. Complete tournament information and schedule can be found at www.moosicmets.net.

King’s College improved to 2-0 with a victory over visiting Baptist Bible College.
Jillain Tallarico, Courtnay Wilson, Christy Rossowski, Rachel Hoffnagle, Jennifer Bader and Lindsay Warburton all won their singles matches.
