PLYMOUTH — Friday’s two-overtime battle between Wyoming Valley West and Crestwood ended with in a tie, 4-4, in a Wyoming Valley Conference season opener.
Joe Schmid scored all four of the Spartans’ goals.
For Crestwood, A.J. Krysicki had a goal in the first half assisted by Nick Despirito. Despirito then added two goals of his own, both coming in the second half, when the Comets were trailing. Brian Lee added another goal for Crestwood. Neither team could break the tie in the overtime periods.
