Swoyersville men allegedly broke into six houses in their hometown since August.

SWOYERSVILLE – Police said they arrested two brothers late Tuesday night on charges they burglarized several homes during daylight hours.
Joshua Ryan Fullam, 20, and Jordan Michael Fullam, 19, both from Owen Street, Swoyersville, were charged with six counts each of burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal trespass, and a single count of receiving stolen property. They were jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail each.
Police said they linked the brothers to a home burglary on Main Street on Monday by matching the serial number of a portable video game system found in their vehicle during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
After their arrest, police said, the brothers admitted to six residential burglaries in Swoyersville since August.
According to the criminal complaints:
Police stopped a Chrysler Cirrus, occupied by the brothers, for a traffic violation at Owen and Main streets at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Joshua Fullam was in the rear seat, where police observed him attempting to place a portable video game system in his pocket. Police said the serial number on that game system matched a game system reported stolen from the Main Street home on Monday.
Police said the brothers admitted during separate interviews that they burglarized homes on Poland Street on Aug. 18, a house on Creek Street on Sept. 11, a residence on Spruce Street on Sept. 16, and homes on Slocum and Main streets on Monday.
Property was stolen from each home, police said.
Police said Jordan Fullam admitted to helping his brother through an open window at the Main Street house on Monday. Joshua Fullam unlocked a rear door to let Jordan inside, where they stole the portable game unit, several video game systems and jewelry.
After forcing their way into the Slocum Street home on Monday, Jordan Fullam told his brother they had to leave because someone spotted them inside.
Jordan Fullam told police he cut himself on broken glass after breaking a gun cabinet inside the Spruce Street home on Sept. 16. Police said they found blood spatter on the walls and the gun cabinet inside the home.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Oct. 8 before District Judge David Barilla in Swoyersville.
