Edward Perlowski, 77, formerly of Plymouth and Pringle, passed away Tuesday evening at the Kindred Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Nov. 7, 1931, in Plymouth, he was a son of the late Alexander and Bridget (Sokoloski) Perlowski.
Edward attended Plymouth schools and attended Holy Family Church, Luzerne. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of numerous VFW groups in the area.
Prior to retirement, he worked with the Teamsters as a machinist for many years. Edward was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former, Natalie Yablonski; infant son, Edward; and three brothers, Coy, Alfred and Alexander Perlowski.
Surviving are his children, Denise Jordan and her husband, Robert, of Dallas; Kevin Perlowski, of Pringle; and Patrick Perlowski and his wife, Michelle, of Swoyersville; grandchildren Robert and Brianne Jordan, and Katie and Patrick Perlowski; sister Wanda Godumski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edward’s children and family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Kindred Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Also, they would especially like to thank Father Seeger and Monsignor Sempa for time and prayers they offered to Edward.
Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
