Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Stawasz, of Plains Township, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, following a brave battle with leukemia.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre to Andrew and Ruth (Miller) Gobla on Dec. 17, 1960, and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Class of 1978. She was employed by Keystone Automotive, Exeter, as a Buyer in the Purchasing Department.
She was a life member of East End Primitive Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was a Sunday School Teacher and was the Coordinator of the Nursery for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents, Beth is survived by her loving husband, John “Jack,” for 29 years; daughter Nicole and son Craig, at home; sister Sharon Leslie and her husband, Edward, Wilkes-Barre; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to East End PM Church, Laurel Street, Wilkes-Barre, or the American Cancer Society.
