Mrs. Paulette C. Barlik, 56, of Leslie Lane, Hughestown, passed away on Wednesday at her home.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Starcun Capitano. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1971. She was formerly employed by the former Topps Chewing Gum Co., Duryea.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Duryea.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John Barlik.
She and her husband, John, would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on October 9, 2009.
She is also survived by her sisters, Gloria Butchko and her husband, Gerald, of Muncy; Judith Endres and her husband, Russell, of West Pittston; brother Peter Capitano and his wife, Rose, of Pittston; mother-in-law Gloria Barlik, of Old Forge; sister-in-law Connie Sworen and her husband, George, of Old Forge; brother-in-law Fran Barlik and his wife, Erin, of Hanover Township; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
