DALLAS – Jenera Quinones scored a hat trick and added an assisted on another as King’s defeated Misericordia, 6-3 in a Freedom Conference field hockey match on Thursday.
Heather Kozimor added two goals for the Monarchs, while Danielle Terracciano also scored.
For the Cougars, Megan Lafaw, Samantha Sorokas and Jen Lozier all found the back of the cage.
Wilkes 4, Alvernia 1
Jenna DiSabatino notched two goals for the Colonels and Jennifer Keegan and Amanda Peters were also credited with goals in the win.
Men’s Tennis
Wilkes 7, East Stroudsburg 2
Wes McCollum and Evan Katz won their double match then won their respective singles match to help the Colonels.
Also winning twice were Cesar Leon and Clarke Freeman, who won at No. 2 doubles and won singles matches.

Dallas runs away with 3 wins
Placing five of the top 15 finishers, Dallas finished 3-0 in Wednesday’s cluster meet. The Mountaineers defeated Pittston Area and GAR by the same score, 15-50, and Wyoming Area 20-41.
Wyoming Area won its two others matches, defeating MMI 15-40 and Crestwood 25-30.
Crestwood’s Robert Moulton placed first overall with a time of 17:35, yet the Comets also fell to Pittston Area 27-30 and GAR 15-50.
MMI routed GAR 15-50 while falling to Pittston Area 15-50.

Crestwood’s Kristin Schafer finished first at Wednesday’s cluster meet with a time of 20:38. The Comets defeated Wyoming Area 21-34 while losing to Pittston Area 25-35.
Dallas ended 2-0 at the meet with 18-45 wins over both Pittston Area and Wyoming Area.
Pittston Area beat MMI 15-50 while Wyoming Area defeated MMI 21-36.
