Above, Michael ‘Teddy’ and Nicole Theodore, owners of the Arena Bar & Grill on Coal Street in Wilkes-Barre, look over the restaurant’s anniversary cake on Saturday. The cake resembling a beer tap was created by Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Md., for the Arena Bar & Grill’s seventh anniversary party. The couple declined to say how much the cake cost, but Michael noted they were told it took bakery employees 80 hours to complete. The four glasses of beer in front of the tap were molded from Rice Krispy Treats. He also noted the delivery person informed him the making of the cake might be on the bakery’s TV show, Ace of Cakes, on TLC, next season because the production company was filming during the week while the Arena cake was being made.
