ZANE METZENDORF OLKEIN, of Edwardsville, Boca Raton, Fla., and formerly of Metuchen, N.J., died Friday, February 11, 2011, at Hospice of the VNA, Wilkes-Barre. Born in 1926, in Perth Amboy, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Rebecca Sarokin Metzendorf. She graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1943 and Penn State University in 1947, with a degree in economics. Her hobbies were her family and friends, Penn State and NFL football, golf and various charities. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Jack, in 1988. Surviving are son Larry, Ann Arbor, Mich.; daughter Alice Biscontini and her husband, Robert, Hanover Township; grandson Eric Biscontini, Jeffersonville, Pa., and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. today at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, N.J.
