WACO, Texas — Brittney Griner scored 29 points and top-ranked Baylor beat Texas 96-68 on Saturday for its 20th straight victory.

Griner added 12 rebounds for her 23rd career double-double and blocked seven shots. She didn’t play the final 10 minutes of the lopsided game.

The Lady Bears (23-1, 10-0 Big 12) were in control by halftime with a 50-22 lead. Griner already had 23 points, making 8 of 9 shots and all seven free throws to go with seven rebounds and six blocks.

Ashleigh Fontenette led Texas with 23 points and Chassidy Fussell had 11 on 4-of-17 shooting. Texas (16-8, 5-5) had won five in a row.

No. 2 Connecticut 68, Providence 38

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Freshman Stefanie Dolson matched her career high with 21 points and Maya Moore added 11 points and a career-high nine assists, powering Connecticut to the easy win.

The Huskies (24-1, 12-0 Big East) won their 12th consecutive game since a Dec. 30 loss to Stanford that ended their NCAA-record 90-game winning streak. Providence (11-12, 4-7) has lost to UConn 26 straight times since 1993.

Moore played just 23 minutes, sitting most of the second half as coach Geno Auriemma rested his starters for upcoming games against No. 14 Oklahoma on Monday and No. 8 Notre Dame next Saturday.

No. 3 Stanford 62, Washington 52

STANFORD, Calif. — Nnemkadi Ogwumike had 22 points and nine rebounds as Stanford overcame one of its worst performances of the season to earn a 16th straight victory.

Freshman Chiney Ogwumike added 21 points and 10 boards for the cold-shooting Cardinal (22-2, 13-0 Pac-10), who held on for their 58th straight home win at Maples Pavilion, one shy of matching the school record set from Nov. 25, 1994, to March 14, 1998.

No. 7 Xavier 77, Fordham 55

CINCINNATI — Amber Harris scored 18 points, helping Xavier remain unbeaten in the Atlantic 10.

Xavier (21-2, 10-0) won its 25th straight conference game. Tyeasha Moss added 13 points, Ta’Shia Phillips had 12 and reserve Lynette Holmes finished with 11.

No. 8 Notre Dame 71, Rutgers 49

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Devereaux Peters scored 21 points and Skylar Diggins had 20 to lift Notre Dame to the victory.

Diggins added five assists for the Irish (22-4, 11-1 Big East).

Forward Chelsey Lee scored 13 points for the Scarlet Knights (14-10, 7-4) and Monique Oliver added 12 points and five rebounds.

Brittany Mallory fed Peters for a layup that put the Irish up 35-29 with 13:53 to play in the second half, but Lee hit a hook shot that got the Scarlet Knights within five with 12:34 left.

No. 14 Oklahoma 69, Missouri 47

NORMAN, Okla. — Joanna McFarland matched her career high with 14 points, Lyndsey Cloman scored 10 and Oklahoma relied on improved post play to get the win.

McFarland had been relegated to the bench and coach Sherri Coale gave freshman Nicole Griffin her first career start while continuing to look for reliable play at center.

McFarland responded with a big second half as Oklahoma (18-6, 8-3 Big 12) put the game away with a 23-7 run after Missouri (11-13, 3-7) had cut a 14-point deficit to five.

No. 18 Wisconsin-GB 69, Loyola-Chicago 43

CHICAGO — Julie Wojta had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Wisconsin-Green Bay extended its winning streak to 15 games.

The Phoenix (24-1, 13-0 Horizon League) missed 11 of their first 12 shots, yet never trailed on the way to their 21st straight league win since February 2010.

No. 9 UCLA 58, Oregon State 48

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Markel Walker scored a season-high 18 points and No. 9 UCLA used an 11-2 run to start the second half to beat Oregon State.

Jasmine Dixon added 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Bruins (21-2, 11-1 Pac-10), who led by as many as 21 points in the second half against Oregon State (8-16, 1-12).
