Stephanie Kalie and Patrick Bower were united in the sacrament of marriage Sept. 25, 2010, at Annunciation Church, Williamsport, by the Rev. Shane Kirby.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Kalie, Shickshinny. She is the granddaughter of Veda and Joseph Kalie Sr., Shickshinny, and William and Carmelina McMunn, South Williamsport.
The groom is the son of Daniel and Christine Bower, South Williamsport. He is the grandson of Harold and Shirley Bower, South Williamsport, and Patrick and Elizabeth Cummiskey, South Williamsport.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her sister, Lori Kalie, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Kalie, sister of the bride, and Olivia Bower, sister of the groom.
The groom chose his brother, Matthew Bower, as his best man. Groomsmen were David Evans and Brian Utter, friends of the groom.
Flower girl was Cyprus Kline, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Austin Baier, nephew of the groom.
Readings were given by Eric Messer and Michael Shore, friends of the groom, and Victoria Kishbaugh, cousin of the bride.
A bridal shower was hosted by the mothers of the bride and groom at the home of the bride’s parents in Shickshinny. The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Bullfrog Brewery & Restaurant, Williamsport. A reception was held at DiSalvo’s, Williamsport.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in fitness management from Lock Haven University in 2005; a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology from East Stroudsburg University in 2006; and a master’s degree in professional nursing from Wilkes University in 2007. She is employed by Susquehanna Health as a registered nurse in Williamsport.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication media from Lock Haven University in 2006. He is employed by Heartland Payment Systems as an account manager in Williamsport.
The couple honeymooned to San Francisco and Napa Valley. They reside in South Williamsport.
