Marvin J. Jones was a loving husband, father, uncle, and brother. A resident of Falls, he was born December 26, 1954, in Pittston, a son to the late Elizabeth Jones and Reese Jones. He passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011, in Plains Township. He was married to the former Kathleen Granahan.
Marvin attended Pittston Area High School and was employed with the American Red Cross “Blood Services.”
He was preceded in death by a brother, Reese Jones.
Surviving are a son, Michael Jones of Falls; daughter, Mavreen Jones of Falls; daughter-in-law, Emily Jones of Falls; sisters, Margaret Jones of Falls and Mary Ellen Jones of Falls; aunt Mary Bender of Pittston; godchild Daniella Granahan of Falls; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.
