Deborah Gaughan, Tresckow, announces the engagement of her daughter, Bethany Gaughan, to Robert Otte Jr., son of Robert Otte Sr., Hazleton, and Shirlann Otte, Nescopeck.

Bethany is a 2005 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and earned an associate’s degree in accounting from McCann School of Business and Technology in 2010.

Robert is a 2003 graduate of Hazleton Area High School and earned an associate’s degree in network administration from McCann School of Business and Technology in 2010.

The couple is planning a September 2011 beach wedding in Virginia.
