WILKES-BARRE – Road work will start Monday on North River Street. The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority has hired a contractor to clean the sewer line of debris stemming from the sewer main break on North River Street approximately three weeks ago. They will be cleaning the line that runs southbound on North River Street towards the Luzerne County Courthouse starting at West Maple Street.
One lane of traffic will be closed from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Flaggers will be on scene to direct traffic through the work zone.
WILKES-BARRE – Street repair work will begin Monday on Northampton Street in front of R/C Movies 14 in the early morning. The westbound lane of traffic will be closed to allow the repairs to be made from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Traffic to and from the movie theater will not be affected.
