One of the most popular area “feast-before-the-fast” celebrations took place at St. Nicholas Church in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday night. Folks, many sporting proper attire, such as feathered caps, and carrying proper frothy mugs, came together for German Nite, the 46th annual pre-Lenten celebration. The Walt Groller orchestra provided music for dancing, and many did indeed dance the night away.
