The Misericordia baseball team earned its seventh straight victory on Thursday, defeating Penn State Behrend 11-5 in Fort Pierce, Fla.

Kenny Durling and Andrew Tressa both had three hits and an RBI for the Cougars (7-2). Junior Pat Clark (2-1) earned the win after allowing just one run in seven innings.

Since dropping the first two games of the season, the Cougars have gone undefeated in a spring break swing through Florida, which ends today.

WOMEN’S TENNIS
Wilkes 9, Trine 0

Ally Kristofco, Rebekah Shanaman, Alexis Donner, Amanda Holyk, Anna Mitchell and Amanda Rossi all won in singles competition as the Lady Colonels earned a sweep of the match at Hilton Head Island, S.C.

In doubles action, the team of Kristofco and Victoria Bybel led the way for Wilkes, which will finish up its spring break trip today against Shepherd University.

MEN’S TENNIS
Wilkes 5, Trine 4

Brandon Helfrich came through in the final match of the afternoon, pulling out a 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 win to secure the victory for the Colonels.

Trine had rallied from two down to tie the contest at 4-4 leading into Helfrich’s win.

Wes McCollum and Clarke Freeman both won in singles play and teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles as well.

The Colonels will remain at Hilton Head Island, S.C., to play Regis University and Shepherd University today.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Wilkes 16, Hollins 3

Gabby Ford and Keri Meerholz racked up nine points apiece, as the two freshmen each finished with five goals and four assists in a non-conference victory in Salem, Va.

Hollins led 3-2 before the Lady Colonels rattled off eight straight goals. Wilkes (1-1) blanked Hollins 6-0 in the second half.

Olivia Dworak added four goals and seven points.
