Helen Skudla, 94, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the Kingston Commons, Kingston.
Born on July 2, 1916, in the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Gabloski Skudla. She had been a member of St. Joseph’s Slovak Catholic Church, Nanticoke.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Birosik and Anna Michno; and brothers, Joseph, Michael, Stephen, and John.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in the former St. Mary of Czestochowa Church of St. Faustina Parish, Hanover Street, Nanticoke. Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Nanticoke. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
