Margaret Reed Halupke, 82, of Marietta, Ga., died March 1, 2011.
She was born in Larksville, on February 10, 1929, a daughter of the late John and Bessie (Maudy) Reed. She attended Larksville High School. Margaret had resided in Marietta for the past 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Burns, Dorothy Kashkill and Thelma Maxwell; and brothers, John J., Donald and Orville Reed.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Eugene Halupke; daughter, Mary Chalawick of Kingston; sons, Eugene Halupke and John Halupke, both of Georgia; brothers John and Charles Reed of Dallas, and Robert, of Larksville; sisters, Louise Bonning of Larksville; Pauline Zelinski of Edwardsville; and Loraine Reed, of Exeter; grandchildren, Brandy Skoloda and George Chalawick of Kingston; as well as great-grandchildren, Tea and Olivia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. John Franklin Hartman, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, Kingston, officiating. The entombment will be at Denison Cemetery Mausoleum, Swoyersville.
