Students in the seventh and eighth grades at St. Jude School, Mountain Top, recently participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition at the Region 2 meeting at King’s College. All students who entered received either first- or second-place awards. First-place winners who will advance to the state competition in May at Penn State were Caitlin Croke, Lauren Higgs, Joseph Kaskel, Connor Murray, Jordyn Pavelitz and Rachel Rinehimer.
