The Suzuki School for Strings, Kingston, will present its 26th Annual Spring Concert at 2 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 97 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre. It is open to the public and free of charge. The concert will include the Junior Orchestra conducted by Peter Brubaker and featuring traditional works by Strauss and Mozart and a spiritual and contemporary tune. The Advanced Orchestra, conducted by both Jule Supplee and Brubaker, will also perform both classical and contemporary works. A new addition this season is the Fiddle Group led by Rachel Galasssi and focusing on old-fashioned fiddle and folk tunes. The Grand Finale will showcase all performers playing ‘What a Wonderful World’ arranged by the school’s founder, Lillian Supplee.
