Cairnwood Mansion, Bryn Athyn, was the setting of the August 21 wedding of Brandi Marie Boruta and Trevor Gary Woodward, both of Elkins Park.

The bride is the daughter of David and Linda Boruta, Gouldsboro.

The groom is the son of Gary Woodward, Stockton, N.J., and Rebecca Woodward, Newtown.

The ceremony was officiated by Maria Odilia Romeu at 5 o’clock in the evening.

Jennifer Algayer, Carbondale, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Susan Nitch, Gouldsboro, cousin of the bride; Patty Mclain, Springbrook, friend of the bride; Ashly Lenzer, Gouldsboro, cousin of the bride; Hilary Woodward, Washington D.C., sister of the groom; and Lisa Barrett, Scranton, aunt of the bride. The flower girl was Jenna Boruta, Gouldsboro, cousin of the bride.

Jason Algayer, Carbondale, was the best man. The groomsmen were: Bob Steinhagen, Glenside; Ryan Shatt, Portland, Ore.; Thomas Diana, St. Petersburg Fla.; and Ryan Emery, Conshohoken, all friends of the groom; and Jason Boruta, Raleigh, N.C., brother of the bride.

The reception followed at Cairnwood Mansion.

The bride is a graduate of North Pocono High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Scranton. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Abington Memorial Hospital.

The groom graduated from Council Rock High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from Bloomsburg University. He is a geologist at Gilmore and Associates, New Britain.

The couple honeymooned in the Mediterranean. They reside in Elkins Park.
