William J. Vincent, 90, of Nanticoke died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Kingston Commons. Born on Dec. 8, 1920, he was a son of the late George and Anna Pekarowski Wieczbolwoicz, and resided in Nanticoke his entire life. A decorated veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was well known in Nanticoke and did lawn and hedge work for many people. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Vincent; sisters, Betty Hurst, Beatrice Dady, and Esther Raski. Surviving is a nephew, William M. Vincent, Nanticoke, and a niece, Monica Estwanick, Belleville, N.J.; as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews, and their families.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke, with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wanamie. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
