Leadership Wilkes-Barre is accepting applications for the Core program Class of 2012. The nine-month program is designed to develop leadership skills in area professionals through knowledge of team building, communication styles, presentation ability and networking. The tuition-based program consists of a combination of presentations, class experiences, workshops and hands-on involvement in a community enrichment or beautification project. Participants are self sponsored or sponsored by their respective corporations/organizations. Scholarship assistance is also available. Applications may be obtained by calling 823-2101, ext.135, or online at www.leadershipwilkes-barre.org. Applications must be received by Friday.
