The chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms will linger in the Wyoming Valley for most of the week.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 64 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. Partly cloudy skies kicked off the week, but the sunshine still managed to break through to brighten the morning.
Isolate showers and thunderstorms are expected today after 1 p.m. and will last up until 11 p.m. tonight. Partly sunny skies are expected otherwise today, with a high in the lower 80s. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for tonight with a low in the upper 60s.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are once again predicted for after 11 a.m. on Tuesday up until 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. Mostly sunny skies are also expected for Tuesday with a high in the mid 80s. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Tuesday night with a low in the upper 60s.
There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday mainly after 2 p.m. Partly sunny skies are expected otherwise, with the high climbing to the upper 80s. That chance for rain and thunderstorms will carry over into Wednesday night, with a low in the upper 60s.
