Birchwood Nursing Home a model for the health-care industry

Special people and organizations in our valley require special recognition.
An excellent example is the Birchwood Nursing Home located on Middle Road in
Nanticoke. The staff, and in particular Daniel Pavilitz, exhibited extreme
concern, compassion, thoughtfulness and expertise while taking care of our
father, Clem PrukalaWhat makes this staff so appreciated is that each resident
of the nursing home is treated equally well according to their needs. The
staff was very responsive to our family needs as our father approached death.
We will always appreciate their effort during this difficult time. This
concept/philosophy starts with management and is maintained by a committed
staff that believes in the dignity of each person.

Today, we hear and read stories about the abuse of residents at nursing
homes, but Birchwood, in our opinion, is one of the bright stars that
contradict these stories and should be recognized as a model for all nursing
homes. After the time we spent at Birchwood and talking with the staff and
some of the residents we would have no issue about becoming a resident
tomorrow, if required.

God knows all things and will compensate the management and staff that
currently work for Birchwood Nursing Home with many blessings because they
truly take care of and provide the highest quality of care possible for their
residents.

God bless all of the management and staff. We sincerely hope that members
of our community recognize the level of performance at Birchwood. Our family
will keep them in our daily prayers and we are very appreciative of every
effort made for our father, Clem Prukala, and his family during this very
important phase in his life.
