BEAR CREEK TWP. – A 16-year-old Wilkes-Barre boy suffered minor injuries in
a one-vehicle crash on state Route 115 on Saturday, state police at Wyoming
reported.
   
Police said Randy F. Blodgett was southbound at 9 a.m. when his vehicle
slid out of control about four miles south of Meadow Run Road. The vehicle
became airborne, hit a tree and then flipped onto its roof, landing in the
southbound lane, police said. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to
police.
    Blodgett was transported by the Bear Creek Township Ambulance to Geisinger
Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township, where he was treated for
minor injuries, police said.
