January 23, 2000 eronica (Ziobro) Cocco, of Dupont, died Sunday at her home.
Born in Dupont, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann Ziobro. She was a
lifelong resident of Dupont and a graduate of Dupont schools. She was employed
as a seamstress in the local garment industry. She was a member of Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Church, Pittston, and the International Ladies Garment Workers
Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael E.; and brothers,
John and Frank Ziobro. Surviving are her son, John M., Dupont; and two
grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday at the convenience of the
family, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount
Carmel Church, Pittston. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery,
Exeter. There will be no calling hours.
