Wilkes University won two of three matches at a quadrangular meet at
Delaware State University Sunday.
The Colonels defeated Howard University, 35-12, and Delaware State, 22-19.
They lost to Western Maryland, 27-21.
Duane Ritter won each of his bouts at 157 pounds for Wilkes. King’s
wrestling The King’s College wrestling team won two matches and lost one at a
quadrangular meet Saturday at York College.
King’s (10-3) defeated Lebanon Valley College 41-6 and Centenary College
49-3. The Monarchs fell to York College, 21-19.
Eric Kelly was a three-time winner at 125 pounds for King’s and is within
four victories of the 100-win plateau. Joe Jamison was also a three-time
winner at 141.
Coughlin product David Rohrbach earned three wins and Meyers graduate Jason
Schlingman went 2-0 at 184.
King’s hosts Lebanon Valley Thursday.
