January 22, 2000 dele M. Vestyck, 93, of Stark Street, Hudson, Plains
Township, died Saturday at ManorCare Health Services, Kingston, after an
illness. Born in Breslau, Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late
Alexander and Amelia (Lutynska) Shilcoski. A resident of Hudson for more than
75 years, she was a member of St. Joseph Church, Hudson; and as a young girl,
of was a member of the Krakoviak Polish Dance Group. She was a floor lady for
Gort’s Manufacturing, Hudson, until her retirement. She was a former president
of the Republican Womens’ Organization, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Anthony; and brothers, Anthony Shilcoski, Stanley
Shilcoski and Louis Kiscunas. Surviving are her son, Daniel J., and daughter,
Phyllis Ekins, both of Hudson; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren
and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services
will be at 9 a.m. today from the Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, Hudson, with a
funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Hudson. Interment will be in
St. Joseph Cemetery, Plains Township. There will be no calling hours.
