PRINGLE
Man, 18, is charged with theft, forgery
State police at Wyoming recently filed theft by deception and forgery
charges against an 18-year-old Edwardsville man. Syelechia Solis was charged
with using a forged check to purchase items purchased from Veronica Krivenko,
77, of Pringle, said state police. Solis stands accused of paying for the
items with a personal check written to Ralph Cist, 43, of Berwick. State
police also said Solis identified himself as Cist when buying the items. State
police said the check was reported lost or stolen Dec. 2 from Fresh America
Corp. in Hanover Township. Solis and Cist worked for the company at the time,
state police said. Charges against Solis were filed at District Justice Andrew
Barilla’s office in Swoyersville.
