EXETER – The Luzerne County coroner has ruled that a man whose body was
found lying along Schooley Avenue on Monday morning died of natural causes.

Timothy Conahan, 43, of North Bend was pronounced dead at Wilkes-Barre
General Hospital shortly after he was transported there, said Deputy Coroner
William Lisman.
Conahan was working for a subcontractor on a road project, Lisman said.

A passing motorist saw Conahan and contacted emergency personnel at about
10:30 a.m., said Exeter police Sgt. Michael Coolbaugh. Cardiopulmonary
resuscitation was performed on Conahan before he was transported to the
hospital, Coolbaugh added.

Police, the District Attorney’s Office and the coroner met and concluded
Conahan’s death was not suspicious, Lisman said. No autopsy was performed.
