January 23, 2000 arian T. Kelley, 79, of Elm Street, Plymouth, died Sunday at
the Hampton House, Hanover Township. Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of
the late Thomas and Mary (McBride) Tucker. She graduated from Plymouth High
School and the Brooklyn Nursery & Infants Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a
member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Plymouth, the parish Missionary
Society and Ladies Aide Group; the Past Matrons’ and Past Patrons’ Association
O.E.S. of Wyoming Valley; the Shawnee Senior Citizens Club; and the Plymouth
Republican Club; a past president of Dieu Le Veut; a past matron of the Order
of the Eastern Star, Plymouth Chapter 345; and a volunteer for the American
Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob; son, Robert;
sister, Eleanor Howells; and brother, Thomas, Jr. Surviving are her daughter,
Mary Ayers, Plymouth; one grandson, one great-grandson and several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the William A.
Reese Funeral Chapel, Plymouth. The Rev. Clyde Lee, of Ebenezer Baptist
Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Plymouth Chapter 345,
O.E.S., will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may
be made to the Plymouth Public Library.
