January 24, 2000 scar J. Begliomini, 88, of East Sperling Street, West
Wyoming, died Monday at Highland Manor, Exeter. Born in West Wyoming, he was a
son of the late Ferdinando and Teresa (Bocci) Begliomini. He was a retired
miner, and worked as a steward at the Italian Corp., West Wyoming, and as a
receiving clerk at the Wilkes-Barre Court House. He was a member of Our Lady
of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming, and an officer of the Holy Name Society, was
past president of the Ushers Club, the Senior Citizens Club, and was a member
of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Wyoming. Surviving are his wife, the former
Celia Pallini, with whom he celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 30;
son, Robert, West Wyoming; sisters, Lena Marchese, Sayreville, N.J.; and Tina
Fiuricci, Jessup; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Dino (Ted)
Begliomini; and great-grandson, Nicholas Begliomini. Funeral services will be
at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Frank A. Gubbiotti Funeral Home, Exeter, with a
funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will be in
Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday.
