A Main Street man was injured when his hand was caught in a snow blower
Tuesday night, police said.
Ambulance crews were dispatched to 112 Main St. The man’s name was not
released and no additional information was available at press time.
PLYMOUTH
Police officer hurt at fire
A borough police officer was taken to the hospital during a structure fire at
77 Center Ave. on Tuesday night, a 911 official said.
Preliminary reports indicated the officer, whose name was unavailable, was
assisting Plymouth Hose Co. extinguish a structure fire when he was overcome
by smoke, said 911 spokesman Ron Rome.
A firefighter at the station said a curtain caught fire in a front room,
and fire, smoke and water damage was minimal. He said the occupants of the
home will be able to remain there.
He did not know the names of the occupants.
