Wilkes University soccer player Tim Seymour has been named to the
All-Middle Atlantic Region second team by the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America. Seymour, a senior defender/midfielder, helped Wilkes
post a 12-7-1 record last season. He scored two goals and had five assists. On
defense, he helped Wilkes limit the opposition to an average of 1.65 goals per
game. 3 Colonels on academic list Three members of the Wilkes University
soccer team have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America All-Division Regional Academic All-American honorable mention list.
James Lacy, a Wyoming Valley West graduate, Heath Neiderer and Bill Smith were
named to the team. Lacy, a senior midfielder, tallied two goals and dished out
four assists this season. Neiderer, a senior defender/midfielder, scored one
goal and had a pair of assists, while Smith, a junior defender, had three
assists.
