AVOCA – Police are investigating a death at a Pittston Avenue home Thursday
night.
   
Members of Avoca police, state police, the Luzerne County District
Attorney’s Office and the Coroner’s Office were called to the home at 309
Pittston Ave. at about 8 p.m.
    A body was taken from the home, but officials would not identify the male.
The body was taken to the county morgue in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital in
Kingston, where an autopsy will be performed today, said Luzerne County Deputy
Coroner Joe Shaver.
