January 27, 2000 ary “Betty” Meager, 72, of Warminster, died Thursday at
her home. Born in Old Forge, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Helen
(Farrell) Lynch. A resident of Warminster since 1963, she was a member of St.
Joseph’s Church, Warrington; Fleet Reserve, CPO Wives Association of the
Willow Grove Naval Air Station; and was a volunteer at the Benjamin H. Wilson
Senior Citizens Center, Warminster. She was preceded in death by her husband,
James A. Meager Jr. Surviving are her children, James D., Hatfield; Ronald J.,
Manassas, Va.; Walter T., Horsham; and Maryellen Prescott, Harveys Lake; eight
grandchildren; sister, Nancy Roth, Fort Pierce, Fla.; and brother, Walter,
Moosic. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. from the A. Groh Schneider
Funeral Home, Hatboro, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Joseph’s Church. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Abington
Memorial Hospital Home Care Hospice, 2510 Maryland Road, Suite 250, Willow
Grove, 19090.
