January 27, 2000 egina S. Prizzi, 31, of Cole Village, Clarks Summit, died
Thursday at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter
of Ross and Cecelia (Roman) Prizzi, of Springbrook Township. She was a 1986
graduate of Riverside High School and of Allied Medical Careers. Before her
illness, she was employed by Terry’s Restaurant, Moosic. She served in the
U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Minooka
section of Scranton. While at Allied Medical Career School, she studied
phlebotomy. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brother, Santo, of
Springbrook; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was
preceded in death by her infant brother, Rosario. Funeral services will be at
9 a.m. Monday from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Old Forge, with a Mass
of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Conan Conaboy, C.P., at 9:30
a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Scranton. Interment will be in
Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
